He will be present alongside the King Charles III, will meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (not yet officially confirmed, according to the White House) or Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and/or German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, on the sidelines of D-Day to prepare for the next G7.

Thursday June 6, President Joe Biden will go to Normandy, where he will begin his participation in the D-Day commemorations, at the American cemetery of Colleville-sur-Mer (Calvados) in a ceremony in the company of Emmanuel Macron, Several dozen American veterans, survivors of the Second World War.

Friday June 7, the American head of state will again visit Calvados for another tribute at Pointe du Hoc.
