BREAKING NEWS: URGENT -- Britain raises terror threat level to severe

USPA News - The United Kingdom on Friday raised its international terrorism threat level from substantial to severe due to the crisis in Iraq and Syria, saying a terrorist attack is "highly likely" though there is no intelligence to suggest an attack is imminent. "The increase in the threat level is related to developments in Syria and Iraq where terrorist groups are planning attacks against the West," said British Home Secretary Theresa May.
"Some of these plots are likely to involve foreign fighters who have travelled there from the UK and Europe to take part in those conflicts." Severe is the second highest level on the five-step scale of threat levels.
