Condition of Singapore;s founding father Lee Kuan Yew worsens

USPA News - The condition of former Singapore prime minister Lee Kuan Yew, who is widely recognized as the founding father of modern Singapore and who led the country for more than three decades, has deteriorated further, the prime minister`s office said on Saturday. "Mr Lee Kuan Yew̢۪s condition has worsened," the office of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said in a one-sentence statement issued on Saturday morning, providing no other details. Lee, 91, has been hospitalized with severe pneumonia since early February, but an infection worsened his condition and caused it to become critical on Tuesday.
