U.S. Vice President Biden;s son Beau hospitalized in Washington, D.C.

Former Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, the son of U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, was hospitalized at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, though details about his condition were not immediately known. The vice president`s office confirmed 46-year-old Beau Biden was undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Beau Biden served as Delaware`s Attorney General from January 2007 until January 2015, but suffered several health issues in recent years. He was hospitalized in August 2013 to remove a small brain lesion that has required continuing treatment. He was also hospitalized in May 2010 after suffering what doctors described as a mild stroke. Beau Biden previously considered running for the U.S. Senate seat his father held before becoming vice president, but in the end he decided against it.
