USPA NEWS - The Minister of National Defense of Vietnam, General Phung Quang Thanh calling on the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, in New Delhi on May 25, 2015. The Prime Minister assured Gen. Thanh of India´s full commitment to the strategic partnership between the two countries.
Minister of National Defense of Vietnam, Gen. Phùng Quang Thanh, called on Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi on May 25.

The Prime Minister recalled the successful visit of Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung, Prime Minister of Vietnam, to India in October 2014.

Gen. Thanh briefed the Prime Minister about defense and security related developments in the India-Vietnam bilateral relationship. Prime Minister Modi expressed satisfaction at the progress made in bilateral defense and security cooperation since the visit of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.
Gen. Thanh thanked Prime Minister Modi for India´s strong and growing defense and security relationship with Vietnam, and for India´s support and assistance in this regard. The Prime Minister assured Gen. Thanh of India´s full commitment to the strategic partnership between the two countries.
