Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu launched Meekosam Portal for public Grievances on May 26.

This portal www.meekosam.ap.gov.in will allow to file grievances instantly and be a platform where one can report about local problems, give suggestions and post related photographs/documents. The portal will record the grievance through Aadhar number.
Using this, one can track the progress of application. MeeKosam also gives an option to classify the complaint. Once the grievance has been registered, an acknowledgement will be sent via SMS/e-mail. From the government´s end, the grievance will be registered, tracked and forwarded to the concerned department. If the grievance is not addressed within a certain time-frame, it will immediately be escalated to higher authorities. The status of grievance can be tracked online or call toll-free number 1100/1800-425-4440. A Call Center has been set up to register or find out the grievance application.
Speaking about e-Governance initiatives in the state, the Chief Minister set June 2015 as the deadline for drafting Action Plan for E-Governance. IT Minister Mr. Palle Raghunath Reddy, IT Advisor Mr. J Satyanarayana, Advisor (Communications) Dr. Parakala Prabhakar, IT&C Secretary Mr. Sreedhar, Principal Secretary to CM Mr. Satish Chandra and others were present.
