“˜Don´t Confine To Kitchens, Hone Vocational Skills To Progress In Life´

USPA NEWS - JVV Secretary Dr. Tavva Suresh addressing at Summer Vocational Courses and Training Programme in VITS , Proddatur on 02-06-2015. Dr. Tavva Suresh said, women should come out of kitchens to make their living standards better.
Do not confine to kitchens, hone your vocational skills to progress in life, said JVV Secretary, Dr. Tavva Suresh. He launched Summer Vocational Courses and Training Programme in Vaagdevi Institute of Technology and Science (VITS) on June 2.

Addressing in the programme, Dr. Tavva Suresh said, women should come out of kitchens to make their living standards better. Do not limit your learning abilities to the kitchens alone. Avail these courses to heighten your levels of confidence. Especially, the youth with rural background can best avail these vocational courses to increase the chances of their employability.
Elaborating on the benefits of the vocational courses, JVV Secretary said, VITS is providing this opportunity by conducting summer vocational courses and training. This college has been fulfilling its social responsibility and raising social awareness among the rural youth on a remarkable note by offering courses of tailoring, house wiring and computer programming during summer season for the last six years.


He said, the government has conferred an award on VITS for the excellent students services in the field of education. Rural development will not be a distant dream if all colleges move in the same direction with the same responsibility.

Out of 70 persons, 40 opted for saree design course and 30 opted for computer programming course during the programme.

VITS Principal Dr. N Kumara Swamy, NSS Officers Mr. Peeraiah and Mr. Bhanu Prasanth were present in the programme.
