USPA NEWS - The American Film Festival in Deauville kicks off from September 4 to 13, in Deauville France (Calvados). Last year marked the 40th anniversary of the event, yet the organisers still managed to attract the biggest stars of Hollywood. The American Festival in France will unroll a red carpet.

TRIBUTE TO THE ACTORS OF “HEROISM“---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For the 2015 edition, Deauville American Film Festival will pay a special tribute to three heroes legend of the 7th art: Keanu Reeves (Neo in The Matrix), Ian McKellen and Orlando Bloom (Legolas and Gandalf respectively in the trilogy Lord of the Rings) will be here in person ! The stunning actress, Patricia Clarkson, will be honoured. Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga) is also expected in Deauville, to present "Life Anton Corbijn". TRIBUTE TO ORSON WELLS CELEBRATING HIS 100TH ANNIVERSARY------------------------------------------------------ To mark the centenary of the birth of Orson Welles, the American Film Festival of Deauville will pay tribute to the legendary director of Citizen Kane.Three of his greatest films and a documentary will be broadcast: - Citizen Kane, - The Lady from Shanghai (The Lady from Shanghai) - Touch of Evil (Touch of Evil) - This Is Orson Welles Clara and Julia Kuperberg (TCM Film Production I & Wichita Films).
