USPA NEWS - Aid el-Kebir in 2015 in France, will be celebrated tomorrow Thursday, September 24th, according to results of astronomical observations. This festival is not a public holiday in France for 6 million Muslims in France. By chance of schedule the Aid is celebrated the day after festival of Yom Kippur.

EID EL KEBIR IS ONE OF TEH MOST IMPORTANT MUSLIM CELEBRATIONS "AID EL KEBIR" is one of the most important celebrations of Islam with Ramadan. Its date is the subject of attention each year ... The date of Eid el-Kebir in 2015 (also known as Eid al-Adha) is fixed in France on Thursday, September 24. It falls this year the day after Yom Kippur, one of the major Jewish holidays. In Islam, Eid fence to millions of believers Hajj pilgrimages period which began Tuesday. Every year, Muslims make the holy sites from their religion in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. EID KEBIR IS THE DAY AFTER THE ASCENSION OF MOUNT ARAFAT THE PILGRIMAGE This year, Eid al-Adha matches Thursday, September 24, 2015, following the great gathering of pilgrims in Mecca to Mount Arafat. This celebration period begins the 10th of the month of al-Hijjah dhou, the last of the Muslim calendar. The festival lasts four days and sacrifice must take place before sunset the thirteenth day of the month. The Great Mosque of Paris is now so the date and announced a rally for the solemn prayer of Eid el-Adha Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 9:00 am sharp. Uncertainty remains each year on the start date, due to the observation of the moon. Indeed, the month of the Muslim calendar correspond to phases of our satellite, each new month starting with the visual sighting of a crescent moon at dusk. Therefore, the date of Eid al-Adha, such as the beginning or the end of Ramadan, "back" of about eleven days each year in the civil calendar.
