Prime Minister´s Informal Interaction With IAS Officers

USPA NEWS - The Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi in an informal interaction with IAS officers participating in mid-career training programme, in New Delhi on October 12, 2015.

The PM emphasized the importance of continuous innovation and enhancement of administrative capacities and processes.
The Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi interacted informally with about 100 senior IAS officers of Joint Secretary and Additional Secretary rank, participating in a mid-career training programme on October 12..

During the interaction, the officers shared their experiences in areas such as development works, agriculture, irrigation and food-processing, inflation, public health, tribal and social welfare, female foeticide and skill development.
The Prime Minister appreciated the thoughts and suggestions expressed by the officers. He emphasized the importance of continuous innovation and enhancement of administrative capacities and processes. He spoke of the importance of judicious use of technology and infrastructure in administration, and also mentioned his interaction with various Ministries and State Governments through the PRAGATI platform. He urged officers to work with mutual team spirit and trust.

The Minister of State in the PMO, Mr. Jitendra Singh, Cabinet Secretary Mr. P.K. Sinha, and Additional Principal Secretary in the PMO, Mr. P.K Mishra were present on the occasion.
