USPA NEWS - The French Ministry of Agriculture, held on November 2, a symposium on the Iranian market, which opens more and more for agricultural and food sectors. The symposium brought together a hundred people to present the results of a study commissioned by the Department for Business France on the subject.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Agri-Food and Forestry held this Monday, November 2, a symposium on the Iranian market, which opens more and more for agricultural and food sectors. The symposium brought together a hundred people was notably the occasion to present the results of a study commissioned by the Department for Business France on the subject.-------------- The opportunities in the Iranian market are real for plant, animal and food chains and a corollary of the specific needs of inputs and equipment. Parallel to the study, the point was also made on the issues of lifting sanctions and for financing the operations.----------------------------------The presentation of this study comes just weeks after moving Stéphane Le Foll Tehran with 23 agricultural and food companies, and the approach of the coming of the Iranian president in France soon, in a context of resumption of economic ties the France and Iran and mutual interests in the agriculture and food sector. Agriculture, livestock and food industries are particularly dynamic sectors in Iran, where many investment projects could provide as many opportunities for French companies. In addition, the Iranian Ministry of Agriculture and private companies are showing a strong interest in the French offer, particularly in the areas of seed, animal genetics and aquaculture.------------------------------  During his visit to Tehran last September, Stephane Le Foll has reaffirmed the willingness of France to engage in a long-term cooperation with Iran on agricultural and food issues, especially the Iranian market, its 80 million inhabitants, is especially promising.
