Tremendous Potential To Grow Economic And Developmental Partnership
Mr. Li Yuanchao, Vice President of the People´s Republic of China met Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi on November 6.

The Prime Minister warmly recalled the visit of President Xi Jinping to India last year, and his own visit to China in May this year.

The Prime Minister said that there is tremendous potential for India and China to grow their economic and developmental partnership. He highlighted opportunities in Railways, Smart Cities, Infrastructure and Urban Transport for cooperation between India and China.
The Prime Minister welcomed the increased level of investments from China to India and expressed hope that the growth in the number of Chinese tourists visiting India will continue. He said that the ancient cultural ties between India and China are a catalyst for growth of stronger people to people relations.

The Prime Minister and Mr. Li Yuanchao agreed that peaceful, cooperative and stable relations between India and China are vital for regional and global peace and prosperity.
