Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa, the leading North American day spa operator, announced on December 8, the appointment of Ben Stewart as National Creative Director and Timothy Wandrey as the National Style Education Director to lead the hair salon business.



In their new roles, Ben and Timothy will focus on growing the salon business and building out a dream team of hair stylists and colorists in each region. Red Door Spa's new hair directors will oversee all salon innovation and educational support. They will also be behind the chair at two Manhattan Red Door Salons.
Ben Stewart is a leading colorist and educator in the hair industry with over 25 years of experience. He began developing his skills working with some of the biggest names in the industry in the early 90s, having crafted his foundational skills as a member of the artistic team with Toni & Guy and worked to develop the education program for Bumble and Bumble.

As a Senior Stylist and Director of Education at Cutler Salon in New York City, Timothy Wandrey developed and managed the cutting and styling curriculum for incoming and prospective stylists, as well as established a teacher-training program to prepare students for their transition into education.
Ben Stewart will be based out of Red Door Spa's Flagship location on 5th Avenue in New York City and Timothy Wandrey will have a chair at Red Door Spa's newest location in New York City, The Red Door Union Square.
