The photographer Leila Alaoui died last Monday of her injuries in Ouagadougou. Her series "Moroccans" was exhibited in the Biennale of contemporary photographers at Arab World Institute."She was young, she was beautiful, she was talented. It was a radiant artist. She led a fight to revive the forgotten of society, the homeless, migrants, armed only with photography. She was a corresponding peace.
