The Belgian TV (RTBF) specifies that a firearm "kalachnikof" was found in the odds of a presumed assailant in Maleenbeck metro station. The European district, which is nearby to the Metro station was also blocked.-----------------------------------------

"Tuesday, March 22 in the morning, two explosions occurred at Zaventem airport in Brussels. Air links were suspended.
An explosion also occurred in the subway of Brussels, in the European quarter. The Brussels metro is closed.
Avoid moving and reassure your loved ones. Follow the safety instructions of the Belgian authorities.
