Dr. Najma Heptulla Opens Exhibition “˜Threads Of Continuity: Zoroastrian Life And Culture´

Represents A Philosophy Of Life
Dr. Najma Heptulla inaugurated exhibition “˜Threads Of Continuity: Zoroastrian Life And Culture´ at Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts in Delhi on March 21. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that The Threads of Continuity: Zoroastrian Life and Culture, is an exhibition with a difference. It represents a philosophy of life, an ethos which has come down in an unbroken thread from the Bronze Age. I am glad that this exhibition, which is the product of almost 2 decades of field work and recordings by Parzor, gives equal weight to Iran and India ““ Zarthushti life and Parsi life.
Wishing Navroze Mubarak to all, the Minister said on this day of transitions and new beginnings, let me wish everyone present here all the prosperity. I hope this day, celebrated in a spirit of friendship and harmony, brings whole-hearted joy to everyone. As different world cultures and communities welcome the New Year on this day, it is important to remind ourselves of the oneness of humanity and of the everlasting bond shared by us all.

Today more than any other time in history, we must recognize the importance of unity and stand together in the face of challenges and adversities in order to spread the message of acceptance everywhere.

Enjoy Threads of Continuity, relish the fun and the food and be enriched by this community which is such an important Thread in the Indian Fabric she added.
