AYUSH To Play A Larger Role In Health Management
Minister of State (Independent Charge) for AYUSH Mr. Shripad Yesso Naik gave prizes to the winners of the online contests organized by Ministry of AYUSH on different media platforms like MyGov, Facebook, Twitter and Blog on the occasion of International Day of Yoga, 2016.

On this occasion on Aug 10, Mr. Naik congratulated all the participants and the winners of the online contests and thanked them for the enthusiasm shown by them and making this initiative a success.
He also said that AYUSH has to play a larger role in health management of masses and it is Ayush Ministry´s mandate to make people aware of the strength and benefits of AYUSH especially in prevention and control of lifestyle problems and diseases. He further added that use of Social Media tools will help in reaching different strata of society with these benefits and advantages of AYUSH.

The Ministry of Ayush organized online Yoga Quiz Contests, Online Essay Contests and Online Caption Contests between 17th June 2016 to 25th June 2016.
The winners of online Yoga Quiz Contest on MyGov platform are Ravi Singh (First Prize), Rajendra Kashyap (Second Prize), Parminder Singh (Third Prize). The winners of Online Caption Contest on Facebook are Rahul Ghosh (First Prize), Saurav Sarkar (Second prize), Sandeep Wankhede (Third Prize ). The winners of Online Caption Contest on Twitter are Rohan M. (First Prize), Rahul Jhadav(Second Prize), Keshav Murkute (Third Prize) and the winners of Online Essay Contest are Merish Unnale (First Prize), Prafful Gajare (Second Prize) and Sahil Sharma (Third Prize).
