Sweden: Apartment blast kills at least 3, police launch murder probe

USPA News - At least three people were confirmed dead after an apartment building blast in Sweden, local media reported Friday. The incident occurred at around 4:30 a.m. local time at an apartment building in the Hallonbergen neighborhood in Sundbyberg, which is located just northwest of Stockholm, the country`s capital.
Firefighters rushed to the scene and after extinguishing the blast`s fire, three bodies were found. Emergency teams confirmed the incident, according to the Local. The exact cause of the incident was not immediately known, but Stockholm police spokesman Martin Sjöli spoke with local media outlets and said the incident calls for a murder investigation. Nonetheless, a bomb squad that was deployed to the scene failed to recover any explosive devices in their search operations.
