At least 5 missing after ships collide in eastern China

USPA News - Two ships collided in eastern China and five people have gone missing, local authorities said Thursday. The accident took place at around noon local time off the city of Wenzhou in eastern China`s Zhejiang Province, when a local fishing ship struck a commercial ship and eventually sank. The Wenzhou Maritime Safety Administration said five people on board the fishing ship were reported missing, the state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
According to the department, bad weather condition might have caused the accident, due to strong winds and poor visibility of less than 100 meters (328 feet). Authorities launched an investigation into the accident. Search-and-rescue operations were also deployed.
